| Yo. CanadianIdiot here, telling deviantART about myself. I'm not really Canadian. I just like the song by Weird Al. That's just a heads up for future reference. I'm very into the arts, whether I'm good or not. Writing and music are my favorite types of art to deal with. I play bass in a band and take pride in it, even though I'm not even that impressive. I also enjoy movies and plays. They allow me to view things in different ways and everything seems to give me inspiration for something. Musicly, I am inspired by nearly every type of music. Hard rock, thrash metal, and hardcore punk to blues rock, prog metal, and pop punk, everything gives me an idea. Bassists who inspire me are Cliff Burton, Frank Bello, Steve Harris, Mike Dirnt, and Troy Sanders. Each one of them give me an unique inspiration that makes everything diverse. I also listen to classical music, such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. There is so much in there that you can incorporate and pay homage to with modern music. As a writer, I'm inspired by nearly everything around me. Life, stories, movies, other works, music, and emotions such as anger, fear, and love. The majority of my work is dark poetry that deals with emotion, judgement day, oppressive governments, and fantasy themes. I prefer to write about the opposite of what poetry was made for; I can't write about nature, peace, and other happy things. The world is a bad place, and I want everyone to stand up to it, knowing full well what's out there. I dab into fantasy and sci-fi a bit, too. I got that idea from Steve Harris of Iron Maiden.
